Jacinda is a pianist, musician and educator who is committed to creating a piano studio where anyone can belong.
My Story
Jacinda has been fascinated by the piano ever since she was allowed to explore her grandmother's piano at a young age. She studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and graduated with an honours degree in Music Education. She has over twenty-five years of experience working with students of all ages and has taught in schools in Sydney, Tokyo and London.
Jacinda has extensive teaching experience, in music classrooms as well as in the piano studio. She is also a qualified Orff-Schulwerk practitioner. Jacinda has also directed choirs, coordinated concerts and events, conducted theatre productions and worked as an accompanist and repetiteur.
As an advocate of life-long learning, she recently completed the Piano Teachers Course in 2022, graduating with Distinction. She studied piano with Gerard Willems and Lucinda Mackworth Young.
The Piano Shed is located in Sydney's Inner West and welcomes students of all ages and abilities.
